Principal & Director

Philip Rossi is the owner and Principal of Tapex Group, the third generation of the Rossi family to lead the business. Under his ownership since 1992, Tapex has grown from a single industrial business into a group of five operating companies across Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Philip's stewardship has defined the Group's acquisition strategy and long-term orientation.

Humphrey Nolan is a seasoned board member and chief executive with over 30 years of experience in driving strategic and operational change across industrial, logistics and distribution industries. He has held a number of senior positions with global logistics companies, including with the P&O Group as head of corporate development and chief executive of cold logistics.

Director

Richie Smith brings over 20 years of national and international executive leadership experience, with an extensive background in change management, agriculture and logistics. He has held significant Chief Executive roles across a range of industry sectors before focusing on governance.

Paul Cotchett

Chief Executive Officer

Paul Cotchett has led Tapex Group as Chief Executive Officer for more than 20 years, making him one of the longest-serving executives in Australian industrial manufacturing. Before joining Tapex, he held management roles at Duo Fast Corporation, ITW, Maribeni Corporation and Boral Packaging. His focus is on strategy, sales and building long-term enterprise value across the Group's operating businesses.

Stephen Sammut

Chief Financial Officer

Stephen Sammut brings deep financial expertise across manufacturing, FMCG and pharmaceutical industries. A BCom graduate from UNSW and CPA, he has held senior finance roles at Carlton & United Breweries, Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson and Cenovis Vitamins, among others. At Tapex Group, Stephen oversees financial strategy and reporting across all operating businesses, with particular strength in mergers and acquisitions, equity raising and strategic planning.

Callum Rossi

Strategy and Operations Manager

Callum Rossi joined Tapex Group after five years with William Blair in the United States, where he advised middle-market companies on sell-side M&A transactions in the Services and Industrials sector. A Brown University Economics graduate, Callum applies that commercial and analytical discipline to Tapex's operational performance and strategic direction. His focus is on strengthening day-to-day delivery across the Group while identifying and evaluating growth opportunities.

Stuart Cloney

Group Sourcing & Procurement Manager

Stuart Cloney is a career supply chain professional with more than 25 years of experience across retail and industrial sectors, including two decades specialising in stainless steel and flow control. Since joining Tapex Group four years ago, Stuart has applied that cross-sector expertise to sourcing and procurement across the Group's horticulture and industrial businesses. He is known for building cohesive teams with a consistent focus on delivering for the customer.
