About Tapex Industrial
Tapex Industrial is the original Tapex business, founded in Waterloo, Sydney in 1957 by Theo Rossi. Today it operates from Kingsgrove, NSW and supplies two complementary product categories: packaging containment products that secure and protect goods across the supply chain, and underground asset protection products that make buried infrastructure identifiable, safe and traceable. Tapex Industrial owns and operates two of the most recognised names in Australian industrial supply: DigSafe, the leading brand in underground warning and detection tape, and Kinnears, the iconic Australian rope, twine and cordage manufacturer established in the early 1900s.

Kinnears is one of Australia's most established names in rope, twine and cordage, with roots going back more than a century. Acquired by Tapex in 2002, Kinnears supplies industrial, agricultural and marine-grade products across a wide range of applications. It is a brand built on reliability and depth of range.
