About Empak
Empak is a New Zealand supplier with two sides to the business. Empak Horticulture provides crop protection, netting, twine and growing structures for professional growers. Empak Industrial supplies building film and site safety products to builders, civil contractors and roading crews. Founded in 2002 and part of Tapex Group since 2007, Empak works from offices in Auckland, Hamilton and Christchurch and has spent more than two decades building the product range and supplier relationships that its customers depend on.

Empak Horticulture
Two decades of crop protection, built for professional growers.
Empak Horticulture supplies New Zealand growers with crop protection, vineyard netting, horticultural twine, polytunnels, greenhouse film and coir products.
Vine Side Netting
Covers the grape bunch zone on each side of the vine, protecting fruit from birds while allowing airflow through the canopy.
Windbreak
Empak windbreaks deflect wind and create a sheltered growing zone, resulting in stronger plants and higher-yielding crops.
Side Row Netting
Single-row coverage designed for smaller vineyards or difficult sloping sites.
Vine Net
A proven bird control net for individual vine rows.
Multi-Row Net
Multi-row nets cover multiple vine rows in a single run, reducing installation time and labour.
Quad Net
Creates a micro-climate under the crop canopy, providing protection from wind, hail, birds and pests, with some coverage against frost and water evaporation.

EMPAK INDUSTRIAL
Building film and site safety products for New Zealand worksites.
Empak Industrial supplies what goes under a slab and around a hazard. Recycled polymer film keeps damp out of buildings. High-visibility mesh, flagged rope, posts and caps keep danger zones obvious to everyone on site.
Polythene Building Film
Recycled polymer film in Black 250mu and Orange 300mu. The black is used as a damp-proof membrane under concrete slabs and buildings, and the orange also suits civil and roading work.
Safety Trellis Mesh
High-visibility orange barrier mesh that clearly marks danger zones and site boundaries. Available in Stockade Barrier, Visible Mesh and Safeguard Mesh options.
Flag on a Rope
30m orange flagged rope for quick, visible demarcation of hazards and restricted areas. Supplied in cartons of 10 and easy to set up and move.
Steel Post
Durable black steel posts in 150cm, 165cm and 180cm lengths, built to support safety mesh and barriers on construction sites.
Safety Cap
Bright yellow caps that cover exposed steel posts and reo bar to help prevent impact injuries on site. Supplied in bags of 20.
