AusRAIL is Australia’s largest rail industry event, bringing together thousands of professionals from across the rail sector to connect, share knowledge and shape the future of the industry. In November 2025, AusRAIL PLUS returned to Melbourne for the first time in a decade, and Tapex Industrial was proud to attend in support of our valued customer, G.V. Kinsman.

Australia's Biggest Rail Event

Hosted by the Australasian Railway Association (ARA), AusRAIL PLUS 2025 welcomed more than 7,000 rail professionals to the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre. With around 200 exhibitors and over 120 local and international speakers, the program addressed the issues shaping rail across Australia and New Zealand, from major infrastructure delivery and network operations to safety, sustainability and emerging technology.

The timing added further significance. AusRAIL PLUS 2025 took place on the eve of the Melbourne Metro Tunnel opening, providing the industry with a fitting moment to reflect on a year of major project delivery and to look ahead to the next phase of investment in Australian rail.

Michelle Moreira, Business Manager of Tapex Industrial, represented Tapex Industrial at the event, reconnecting with familiar faces, building new industry relationships and taking part in valuable conversations around rail infrastructure, safety and innovation.

For Tapex Industrial, attending events like AusRAIL is about more than industry presence. Rail is built on strong working relationships, and standing alongside our customers on the exhibition floor, and hearing directly from the operators, contractors and engineers who use our products, ensures our solutions and support remain aligned with the real needs of the sector.

Looking Ahead

The conversations at AusRAIL PLUS 2025 made one thing clear: rail infrastructure investment across Australia and New Zealand isn’t slowing down, and neither is the focus on safety and asset protection. Tapex Industrial will keep working alongside customers like G.V. Kinsman to support the projects keeping the industry moving.
